Smith School of Business Partnership

ICON Talent Partners is honored to share that we have officially partnered with our first university. This special collaboration between the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and ICON Talent Partners will deepen the bond between the two institutions as we seek to increase the representation of BIPOC candidates in the most competitive sectors of the Canadian economy as it pertains to careers in management consulting, sales & trading, investment banking, venture capital, asset management, insurance, technology/innovation, start-up etc.

In particular the Smith School of Business will share ICON programming, scholarships, summer and full time employment opportunities with students in their Smith programs while ICON will make sure to inform members of the ICON community about the amazing opportunities to further their education at the Smith School of Business.

Due to the Smith School of Business being the first academic institution to partner with ICON Talent Partners their relationship will be unique as additional collaboration opportunities will be explored in the coming year.

Nancy Sammon, a Relationship Manager at the Smith School of Business, has agreed to join the brand new Academic Institution Advisory Board for ICON which will develop ways for ICON to integrate programming at Smith along with other universities over time.

Although this is the first university partnership for ICON Talent Partners it will not be the last as our vision for ICON is to be the strategic partner to every university and college throughout the country that cares about increasing opportunities for high achieving BIPOC students to gain access to the most competitive sectors through comprehensive and year around training, mentoring and support.

If your academic institution would like to join the Smith School of Business as a partner with ICON Talent Partners please feel free to email us today at: team@icontalent.org
