ICON Talent Partners is non-profit talent development organization dedicated to educating, training, mentoring and exposing top diverse talent to high impact sectors, where they are often underrepresented.

Namely, we train and help place talent in areas such as investment banking, asset management, management consulting, corporate law, venture capital as well as tech start-ups. 

Our target demographic are students, young professionals and mid-careerists who identify as visible minorities with an emphasis on Black, Latinx and Indigenous talent.

Derrick Raphael

Derrick is a trusted legal advisor and entrepreneur with a passion for developing relationships and people.  His life’s mission is to help people reach their full potential by helping maximize their educational, employment and entrepreneurial pursuits. He holds a BA from Princeton University, a JD from Duke University, and a Global Professional LLM from the University of Toronto.

Marilyn Raphael

co-founder & COO

Marilyn is an influential general manager and entrepreneur with a passion for setting strategy and seeing it executed. Her life’s mission is to create opportunities for women and racialized communities to achieve economic parity. She holds a BSc from McMaster University, an MPH from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
